I’m two weeks in on this one and I am really digging it. They nailed the colors all around. The shade of cream on those indices! 😚👌
I don’t like rivet bracelets so I swapped in the oyster from my 5513P. If they would have used a vintage-style bubble top crystal, it would been perfect.
This came in early last week and it looks fantastic in person. The fauxtina on the loom is perfection IMO.
Calling the color of the model “blue” is a bit misleading. You have to really try and get the light to shine just right to see any blue in it. The color is so dark that it looks black. It’s easier to see the blue in it when compared side by side with two black aluminum bezel divers I have. I really like the color, but if you want something legit blue, this won’t do it for ya.
The size wears well on my wrist since it is pretty thin but looks wider overall than you would expect for its measurements. I would say it feels like a modern throwback that is vintage inspired. Compared to the Thorn, you can really see how much the proportions takes away from it feeling authentically vintage. I took shots with all the divers I have to give a better idea how the compare size wise if you happen to have one of them.
The bracelet is nice and the clasp is mint. The edges are on the sharper side, but not a big issue.
