Need help with how to use fresh Oregano, Sage and Lovage (lavas)
Last year I made a herb garden with all sorts of herbs, but now I notice that the oregano, sage and lovage grow so fast compared to the other herbs and they grow too big. So I need to use these more in cooking because cutting them and throwing it out is rather wasteful.
So, any ideas?
I have used dried oregano plentiful, but how does it work with fresh one?
Sage is, I think, goed with pumpkin and squash, but I never work with those and they are more of a September - November crop so can I even use it in the summer? Anyone got some good recipes for that?
I use lovage sometimes in sauces, chicken curry or in a beef stew. But what else can I use it for?
I prefer specific recipes because then I can use it immediately.
Thanks! :D
