Let me get this right:
MiniMed tells the Pixel users (in March) - "Hey, we got everything fixed for your 780G! Just push the updates!"
I update MiniMed to v3.1.3.
I update Pixel 9XL and Google Play Store to latest version.
Still cannot connect to my MiniMed app to this phone.
Someone is selling a false bill of goods. Im using a family member's old iPhone to start a sensor every time the past month+.
Let's be clear - I LOVE this pump and monitor. They've kept me very well in check.
Let's also be clear - I shouldn't have to choose a worse/older phone to run this phenomenal system. Period. It's for this reason why you could NEVER convince me to move to a "screenless" system that depends on phone to run it entirely.
NEVER.
What I hope is they develop the ability to update the pump's SW to start Instinct from the 780G, OR, they develop a small Bluetooth device that is used simply to begin the Instinct sensors.
Anyway, rant over. Let's hope MiniMed gets their act together ASAP.
