FDSCX - small cap selector fund

Is it worth adding FDSCX to my 401(k)? My employer doesn’t offer a total market fund. Right now I’m 70/30 FXAIX (low cost S&P fund) and international (FSPSX - international index fund). The expense ratio of .85 for FDSCX is giving me pause, but I understand the desire for some small cap exposure. Thanks

43 - Barista/Coast Fire Check In

Happily married with 2 young kids (5 and 1 year old).

Annual expenses are high ($130k due to mortgage and the kids). Wife currently not working but will be back to work part time when youngest is a little older. Goal is for us to both have low stress jobs. Paying off house would greatly reduce monthly spend. My annual salary is about $250k depending on bonus.

401(k): $420k
IRA: $80k
HSA: $35k
Taxable brokerage: $300k
Cash: $65k
Home: $300k in home equity, $550k left on mortgage (6.625 rate).

Currently working on paying off house and 401k. Cash is a little tight but I DCA index funds when I can. Vast majority of investments are in index funds.

Comments welcome.

43M - general feedback/looking to chat

43M in what I would consider the boring middle. Very happily married with a wife and 2 kids (10 months and 5 YO). Wife currently not working but she’s going back to work in a year or two as a speech therapist.

Here is our #s:

401(k): $400k
IRA: $80k
HSA: $35k
Bitcoin: $300k
HYSA: $40k
House: $850k value on paper, $550k mortgage to go. No other debt (cars paid off, etc.)
Net worth: $1.15M

My plan for the next BTC bull run is to take profits into index funds (VTI). At some point I want to slow down at work and take a less stressful job (coast). Probably when wifey working more.

Right now only meaningful savings is into 401k (4% + 9% employee contribution) and paying off this mortgage.

Just looking to chat and for some general advice.
TIA

Edit: probably worth adding I’ve been holding BTC since 2015.
