We have a gas stove, electric dryer.

Do you think it's possible to upgrade the existing dryer circuit to higher amps and hookup an Emporia Pro w/ load management to the same circuit? We'd ideally have scheduling set up to only charge while not drying, but want it to be safe if there is overlap. Obviously this also depends on the wire gauge in the wall, just thinking things through before I start calling electricians.

Feel free to tell me I'm dumb if I misunderstand something 🤣

If I need to pay and just run another circuit, I can, but if I can save a little money it would be nice.

Edit: I have a 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5, no 2nd EV in the picture anytime soon. Level 1 charging on 110v has been mostly fine for us, but we have had to top off at a supercharger once a week usually, usually <$30 a week on supercharging.

2nd edit: The panel is in the basement, directly below the incoming power line/meter. https://www.reddit.com/r/evcharging/comments/1sxiezr/comment/oin55gz/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
