Palworld x NMS Collab (almost) DEFINITELY Incoming

The NMS subreddit is torn over it, but I'm personally excited, big fan of both games

What's the likelihood that all these new changes coming will affect overhead processing for bases?

So as you are all aware, if you start a game right now and start messing with game settings, the game will warn you about possible hangups if you mess with the amount of bases you get in a world and the number of pals you can have assigned to a base.

Right now (or at least as of sometime after Feybreak when the warning was first added) however, I currently have 5 bases built as close to each other as possible, fully staffed. I have no issues, save for when I'm on one base and looking at the base opposite where I am the pal movement on the opposite base is kinda choppy but I think thats just how the game processes far off pals.

With the new content coming out, do you think they'll have optimized bases so that I could push it even further or will all the new content and overhauls being implemented mean that there's more stuff to process and my mega HQ set up won't work as efficiently (or at all) as a result? (Yes I plan on starting a new save file, just hoping I can still make my mega HQ)
