Bristol Accommodation
Hi everyone I'm just writing because I need advice on what to do.
I received an accommodation offer today nearly £10,000 despite the fact that I set my maximum rent at a much lower value. My student finance will only cover around £7,000.
The accommodation is self-catering and is in Avon Point. I said I didn't mind sharing bathrooms but they gave me an en suite which makes it significantly more expensive.
It is also 40 minutes away from Clifton where most of my lectures will be and by public transport it is 30 minutes. It also looks quite far from most of the student events. My financial situation is already tough and I don't know what to do.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm rambling as I'm just stressed and need to sort this out as I have no idea where I'll pull out this extra money from.
I've genuinely been screwed over and I've sent them an email and I'll call them tomorrow but the deadline is by 3pm this Wednesday. If I don't accept by then, then I won't get it.
Please any advice would be greatly appreciated as I just don't know what to do. Thank you.
