LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B vs ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDMES?
I'm currently having a hard time on deciding which I should get between these two. After whole day of researching on which is better, I have seen that the UltraGear is superior in terms of displaying colors and black outputs. As for the ROG, it has a lower peak brightness of 400 nits. The UltraGear uses a 3rd Gen W-OLED with a glossy surface, while the ROG uses a 3rd Gen QD-OLED with an anti-glare surface.
I always play in a dark room with a low chance of having a light open from the background. I will be using it for playing racing games and competitive FPS shooter games from time to time on PC. I will also use the monitor with PS5 since the GTA VI is nearby.
The pros I see for my usage with the ROG is its proximity sensor to help lessen the burn-in, while the pros I see with the UltraGear is with its picture quality.
These two monitors are my only options since their prices are almost the same (from where I live), so I'm really having a difficult time on whether to pick between the two.
