GeoGuessr randomly dropped me into one of the most beautiful streets I’ve ever seen

While playing GeoGuessr, after several completely remote locations, I suddenly landed in Kota Bunga near Jakarta, Indonesia, and honestly got amazed by how beautiful this neighborhood looks.

The streets are full of colorful villas, artistic pavement, statues, perfectly maintained gardens, different kind of statues and rich flora everywhere. The whole place almost feels like a movieset.

Later I realized a much larger area nearby is build in a very similar style.

So now I'm curious is there interesting story behind this place, or this kind of style.
Is it mainly tourist resort area since there is a lot of hotels and rentable villas or do wealthy Indonesians actually live here?

Location: Kota Bunga, Jalan Raya Puncak - Cianjur, Ciloto, Cimacan, Kec. Cipanas, Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat

New to Hamburg, looking for a good start

Moin zusammen,

I recently moved to Hamburg. I’m an EU citizen and a renewable energy Engineer with 3+ years of experience in large scale PV projects, but my German is currently around B1, which makes finding engineering jobs difficult for now.

I’m looking for a more hands-on role close to my field where I can improve my German, gain local experience and meet people. Solar installer, PV construction work seems like a good starting point, but I’m also open to other ideas where someone in my situation could start.

Any ideas for companies or where to search?

Thanks everyone

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a drone survey dataset exported from DroneDeploy, and this is what I currently have:

In AutoCAD I can see the contour lines just fine, but I don’t know how to turn that into an actual 3D terrain model and combine it with the orthophoto.

Previously, when I worked at my old company, we used DroneDeploy and I could just view everything in 3D directly in their web app. Now I don’t have access anymore, so I need to set this up myself.

sooo...
How can I use these contour lines (dxf) to generate a 3D surface and overlay the orthophoto on top of it?

Thanks a lot for any help!

A view from a boat on the Außenalster in Hamburg, under a clear sky, with the flags of Germany, the EU, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony perfectly waving in a gentle wind.

But what’s the fifth flag with the blue, white, and red one with a yellow stripe in the middle?
