I see people talking about a mod which needs it, but also someone on youtube who says there is a steam beta which support online multiplayer. Can someone give me a good answer on how to set this up? (i dont have the game yet, but planning to)

Wanna try it with a friend who cant get it just yet but i wanna know if its even worth it
