so backstory, I grew up in a family that just wasn’t emotionally expressive at all. like feelings weren’t really a thing we talked about. so naturally I never learned how to be that way either.
fast forward, I met a few people online and for once actually let my guard down. shared my feelings, my experiences, stuff I genuinely never tell anyone. and every single time? betrayed. not gonna get into specifics but yeah, it happened more than once, which honestly makes it worse.
the thing is I’m not someone who cares a little, I care about EVERYTHING, even the tiniest stuff. so when something like this happens it doesn’t just roll off me, it actually messes with me for a while.
end result, I currently have no one I can actually talk to or hang out with. like genuinely zero people. and the funny/sad part is everyone who knows me irl thinks I’m this super extroverted, confident person. if they only knew.
