Do you actually check a reel before you share it? I (mostly) don’t, and I’m trying to change that
I fact-check primary research data for a living and forward reels with zero checking :(
A few days ago I sent someone a reel about Lindt getting sued and only wondered afterward if it was real. Checking would have meant leaving the app and searching, so I didn’t bother.
The fix I’m playing with is a simple button in your share menu. You share the reel to it and it tells you if it’s true. It doesn’t exist yet. I put up a page to see whether anyone would use it: https://pb-bookmeup.github.io/Verdict/?src=reddit
