Shoka Shofutai Sanshu-ike (pine, iris, Russian olive)

I made this shoka with pine, purple irises, and beautiful flowering Russian olive. I put a small wildflower in a geode to make it more fun.

I presented this in a tokonoma display with a hanging scroll (which says ichi-go ichi-e, "everything is a once-in-a-lifetime occurance"). I also displayed a kogo (incense container) with a painting of a kingfisher on it to celebrate the season, on top of a cloth with snow-moon-flower designs.

How do you like the arrangement? Do you have any advice of what to do better next time?
