We all know a mousse isn’t meant for pavement riding, especially longer distances and higher speeds. I know some of you have pushed that limit though! What’s the most you’ve done?

I'm 36 years old and never raced before but have been interested in entering local desert races in northern Nevada.

What's your experience with racing the RL? Any must-do mods?

I'd think just removing mirrors and turn signals. Maybe dedicated wheels? Or at least swapping out the tires for non-DOTs. Or would something like the K760 Trakmaster IIs be adequate?
