Is something wrong with opentext?

I get the sense that something isn’t quite right at OpenText. Every so often, the company lays off highly knowledgeable and experienced employees, and from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem like AI is the main reason.

After the Micro Focus acquisition, many expected stronger growth and higher profitability. Instead, profits have remained relatively flat despite the larger business. It makes me wonder if there are deeper strategic or operational challenges that aren’t immediately visible. Just an observation from the outside. Curious to hear what others think.
