So I got a sleep study done while in service…doctor clearly diagnosed me with OSA and said
“PATIENT would benefit from the use of 9cm/H20 with heated humidification and from a appropriately fitted mask”
Fast forward to the phone call with the company who is supposed to give me a CPAP
“You don’t meet the required number of apneas in order or receive a CPAP”
How do yall think this plays out?
I was one of the goofballs that paid a claims shark thinking it would be a good investment. If you are like me and regret your decision after they gave you trash, templated documents; DISPUTE THE CHARGE. I told Amex how they severely exaggerated what I told them and even made shit up. They said I had blast exposure and have been shot at when that was never even mentioned. Obviously this can still be reverted back, but I’m willing to bet those scammers are gonna take the L on the chin.
I encourage you guys that are don’t know where to start with a VA claim…just load up Va.gov and ask ChatGPT what to do. It’s so simple i feel like a fool for not just doing that first.
