Pretty much just how much I like the character, mainly based off their voice acting, their humor, and their personality. Also there is no specific order with the placements.

Just felt like sharing these!

Also I forget where I found most of these from honestly...

I know there are signs that Nicole is a fan of Marilyn Manson, Blink-182, Sean Kingston, My Chemical Romance, and Evanescence, just to name a few, but the only genre I ever have seen her directly mention enjoying is Post Rock. When I put this into the perspective of not only Nicole's music taste, but her timeline, I end up finding a lot of connections with her to LYSFLATH. Firstly, the album was released in the year 2000, secondly, not only is it a Post Rock album, but what is considered the greatest Post Rock album of all time by a significant portion of the community, and lastly, but very similar to the second reason, as she doesn't like having to deal with people talk, this almost entirely instrumental album would not have her go through that trouble.

Before I explain anything, I want to share a quick opinion on each of the games overall now that I have completed them.

Class of '09: 10/10. Biggest strength: Diversity

Class of '09 The Re-Up: 10/10. Biggest strength: Storytelling

Class of '09 The Flip Side: 8/10. Biggest strength: Voice acting

Now that I have shared that, I am going to share a quick opinion on each of the endings, starting with the ones I have placed at D-tier, and moving up to S-tier

D-tier

Chlorine Bomb Ending: Felt random and somewhat cut off of the story

Racist Teacher Ending: Conclusion felt really weak

Car Crash Ending: Completely cut off the story

C-tier

LA Dream Ending: Honestly don't have much to say here

Moving Again Ending: Moderate ending

FBI Ending: Moderate Ending

Drug Rehab Ending: Big switch up with the story, but stays understandable

Slave Ending: Plot was confusing, and ending is crazy, but the humour was good throughout

B-tier

Valedictorian Ending: Funny conclusion

YouTube Famous Ending: Funny conclusion

State-Wide Expulsion Ending: Good plot

Arson Ending: Okay plot, insane conclusion

Psych Ward Ending: Good conclusion

Homeless Ending: Good conclusion

Prison Ending: Great storytelling, basic but reasonable conclusion

Hostage Relationship Ending: Good storytelling & conclusion

I'll try to rank all of them worst to best at some point soon, but I would love to know how you feel about my opinions!

NOTICE: I have read the 6th rule clearly, and I do not see this post as a karma/reaction farm. I have provided an opinion from my own perspective, and some context, which will both be found in the text below.

Let's say you're going to Lake Braddock Secondary School for the first time, just like Nicole is, and you two meet each other on that first day. How do you think it would go for you? To add more context, I will clarify this; You know NOTHING about each other/all of your knowledge of the Class of '09 franchise is gone, but everything else about you is the exact same up until the day you are reading this. What first impression do you think you would leave Nicole with? Personally, I think she would see me as a cooler Crispin who is not completely fucking addicted to her, but not someone who she would hang out with, likely because she wouldn't hang out with any guy in the first place.

Also, if you say that she would want to be in a relationship with you, stop fucking lying. 😭

If you saw the last post I made, you would know how I felt after getting the lesbian ending, but there was a couple of comments left by people saying they wonder how I would react to getting the "alt girl ending." Coincidentally, that was the very next ending I got.

I noticed really quickly about how different Emily was compared to the way she was in the first game, so that definitely left me a little confused, but I chose to look past that perspective, as she did not make many appearances in the first game anyways.

I was starting to see the signs that proved Emily is one of the craziest girl out of all the female students, but I was also able to spot the signs of Nicole failing to keep up with Emily, definitely leaving me somewhat surprised.

Eventually, Emily shared her plan with Nicole on what they could do during their essay, and I was almost certain Nicole would just back out last second while Emily went through with it, but then came the day of presentations, and with that came the most absurd suicide note I will ever read.

Emily took next to everything about what she considered to be her fucked up life, and compared it to poetry and poets, ironically putting effort into the assignment. As for Nicole, it was obvious she was just nervous about going through with a suicide pact, clear to see with how she was throwing in "adlibs" for their presentation, but then it wasn't so obvious.

Emily went through with it, as well as Nicole, but Nicole went through with it with an asterisk. Even while explaining how she was upset about not being as cool as Emily was, she still tweaked her mixture of drugs to make it non-lethal, but to where it could still cause her to have a seizure, as it did.

Now, going back to the comments from the original post, I was told the new message I'd get from this ending would be absurd, and I can definitely say, it was one of the most depressing things I have ever read in my life.

I can't make any sort of list about what depressing things I've read would be near the top of the list, but the fact this is just from an anti-visual novel, and not entirely a real life scenario, really does leave a mark, as it is not "out of this world" unrealistic.

The craziest part of Emily's message in my opinion was the subject. The fact she expressed how grateful she was that she could do something irreversible and impactful with another person she really wanted to do it with her, especially since Nicole never committed, is crazy enough, but the fact she "wrote this for me (Emily)", and titled the message "now or never" is fucking gut-wrenching.

I was super doubtful I would feel anywhere close to the emotions I felt after the lesbian ending, but once again, I was so damn proven wrong.

So I just got Class of 09 the Re-Up after finishing the original, and I went into this game knowing a little bit of information. Like I knew some of the plots, 1 or 2 endings, and that there are less choices than the first game, and I'm currently in progress with the game, but I did get a specific ending.

I had gone down the path of Nicole trying out lesbianism with Ari, and then after that choice I kinda just sat back and let the rest of the story play. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, as I was expecting Nicole to just let go of her lesbian relationship with Ari after a while for one reason or another, but as the story went on, I was seeing just how almost "diverse" the situations were.

Nicole was actually enjoying the relationship, but not for a good reason, Ari was walking on a tightrope, having concerns try to push her off the left, and her conscious try to push her off the right, while these two things shouldn't be separated anyways.

Then came the moment where Ari finally understood enough about what was going on. While knowing very little, still enough. Seeing the counselor actually help out for once was really interesting, but did he really help out? Or was he just speaking definitions more than the truth?

Witnessing Ari be the one to walk away from the relationship really left a mark on me, but seeing her go back to dating guys not much longer after that left a hole in my chest. I don't think Jecka is right with saying Nicole bullied Ari into being straight, as I think Nicole didn't just leave a bad first impression for Ari, but just one too bad. Imagine if there was another girl at the school who would have dated Ari. No guarantee the relationship would have lasted, but I doubt Ari would have walked away.

I had thought I witnessed enough, but once Ari said her final line of the route: "I realized that guys turn me off but... girls make me wanna fucking kill myself.", I actually almost cried. The fact she walked off after that, not leaving any other last sentence behind, really got to me. Jecka walking away from Nicole after finally realizing how wrong she can be just ended up being a drop in the bucket.

I really never thought any sort of writing in a video game would have left even a quarter of an impact this singular route did, and I was so damn proved wrong.

This might be my peak! This is probably going to end up as one of my favourites of all time, because I had put some good research into this. When I found out how much Kira Buckland has shared her love for David Bowie and his album Ziggy Stardust, I knew what I had to do! I did decide to have her sit on the boxes instead since I couldn't find a picture of her with one leg up like David Bowie on the cover, but I still feel like I made it look nice!

I'm currently working on a project in my Drama class that I have decided to be based off of Class of 09! I have talked to my teacher about being able to push limits on what I can and what I cannot do, so thankfully it won't just be corny insults! Also, just to clarify, my project involves only writing a 7-8 minute script, and then other students signing up for my act to play as a character, where they then also get a role for the performance, like lighting, props, set, etc. I'm really excited about doing this, and I felt like sharing this to the Reddit as I would like to hear your thoughts!

I do not recall anything that proves if Nicole is lefty or righty, but at the end of the Anime Pilot, she does shove Jeffery into the barrier with her left hand with a good amount of force. Now I get that it probably has to do with some sort of blocking technique as if she used her right arm, it would not be as clear as to what she is doing, but there is no other scenarios I can find that proves her dexterous hand, so I like to think this can be canonically be viewed as her being a lefty. No guarantees however!

This was totally the toughest one to make, as I couldn't figure out a good solution to removing the face from the background, so you can see the crop line. I am still proud of this one!

Now THIS is my absolute favourite so far, and it's not even close!
