I need some ideas for a library reopening.
For some context, I'm part of the librarian team at my school, Liverpool High School. The librarian team is split into 3 major groups. These groups are categorised as events, promotions, and support. The support team specialises in general library duties, book shelving, and keeping a tidy and cozy library environment; the events team specialises in setting up, planning, and preparing special events, activities, ceremonies and games; and the promotional team specialises in promoting special events, activities, ceremonies and games on social media and whatnot. And I was placed in the events team.
Recently, there has been quite a lot of activity in the library, especially among our librarian team. And my events team leader, Alisha, sent a message on Google Classroom that reads as follows:
"Hello, this message is for the events team.
We have a meeting at recess on Monday to discuss the events surrounding the library reopening. Make sure you have some ideas ready, and your attendance is important and expected.
See you on Monday."
Long story short, I need your help in generating some ideas for my team.
(By the way, I'm in Australia. We don't have any fancy classrooms and hallways with lockers on each side, so I'd much appreciate a low-budget idea or activity)
