Pending OPT After 60-Day Grace Period: SEVIS Transfer to Master’s and Driver’s License Renewal
I am graduating with a bachelors this spring and have a couple questions about the transition.
My first question is about SEVIS transfer eligibility while OPT is still pending.
If my OPT application is still pending after my 60-day grace period ends, would I still be able to transfer my SEVIS record to a master’s program in the U.S.?
Also, if your 60-day grace period after graduation has already passed but your OPT is still pending with USCIS, how were you able to renew or maintain your driver’s license?
