Facial Seb Derm is it healing?

I was prescribed ketaconozole shampoo and I am making it soapy on my hands and putting it on directly while waiting 3-5 min.
Recently it’s been getting extremely dry and flaky, does that mean it’s working or this just dry skin?

Would this be Perioral or Seborrheic Dermatitis

I’ve had these red rashes on my face and on the my chins for months and originally it started out small but grew from one side of my nose to the other and then to the chin.
It gets more red and inflamed during hot weather and I don’t know what to do since there are so many things out there.
Sorry if the photos are insane it just shows how bad it’s gotten.
