Sociology optional - UPSC

Hello everyone,

I'm 27' UPSC aspirant....

starting my Sociology optional journey fresh from tomorrow. My standard resources and reference materials are ready, and I am looking for a dedicated study partner to stay consistent and accountable from day one.

My Plan & Focus:

Daily accountability and target tracking to cover the syllabus systematically.

Discussion of syllabus topics, core concepts, and PYQs (Previous Year Questions).

Gradual transition into daily answer writing and peer review as we cover topics.

Strictly exam-oriented and zero-noise interaction (no political debates or random chatter).

Who I am looking for:

Ideally, someone who is also starting their Sociology preparation now, or someone who is at an early stage and wants to maintain a disciplined daily schedule.

Consistency and a serious attitude toward the exam are the only requirements.

If you are interested in pairing up and keeping each other accountable starting tomorrow, please drop a comment or send me a DM. Let's make it count.

How impt is having a peer group in prep.

Like i have just started studying...been less than a month. But i feel like sometimes having someone to share daily struggles and general issues which arises in study will help clear mind a bit... And will also give mental peace....

At the same time... It feels... Maybe we can end up wasting time even more...though i am confused abt the same,

I would like to know ur views on this.

P. S. : dont wanna disturb 26' attempters...pls spend ur time judiciously, all the best!!
