World Bee Day - a tiny watercolour bee I painted
To mark World Bee Day, I created a small illuminated bee using traditional manuscript techniques, shell gold, oak gall ink, and gilding.
It was a really calming piece to work on, and I loved bringing a bit of medieval craft into a modern celebration of bees through hand-made watercolour paints.
Happy World Bee Day 🐝✨
