I think my cat has prader willie syndrome
I think my cat has prader willie syndrome.
He’s going to be 5 in a couple months and he has always been a feral in hunger guy. He can never get enough. He is fixed. He’s on a timed automatic feeder with 3 regular meals and 2-3 small snacks a day (2+ portions = meal, 1 portion = snack). Here lately, he has been BEGGING for food like he has NEVER done before. Like he’s legit howling and being a menace. I noticed it getting worse maybe about a month or three weeks ago? It’s bad enough that I have to lock him out whenever I have food because he will literally steal it from my hands. He stole bread out of my pantry!! And bagels!! The feeder IS working. It dispenses multiple times a day and it is halfway full so the food is going SOMEWHERE.
Has anyone experienced this? I’m putting it here because I thought as RDs we’d at least get a kick out of it.
I will be posting it to a cat thread as well. This post is mainly just for humor and maybe someone can relate.
