Is it a good time to start investing in US Markets?
So obviously im not asking for financial advice online on reddit but i wanted to know what is overall perception of people here is? I already have some exposure to indian markets but i realised even this so called fastest growing economies market cant outperform sp500. is it a good time to enter US markets . For past year i have been thinking it cant be this high this is a bubble it will burst stocks are overvalued but most companies are actually creating value and are innovative with future plans which is genrally not seen in indian companies and even south korean market.
I'm planning to start putting some money into the S&P 500 to get some US exposure, and maybe look into specific sectors later once I get the hang of it. Also using IndMoney is there any downside to conversion or any hidden charges.
Before someone sees my profile and says that i shouldnt start doing it because im a student and wont be able to commit enough monthly amount. i have a steady income source that i have been putting in large cap and mutual fund basically playing very safe and i got decent returns. plus my dad gives me decent amount which he explicity asks to invest just so i have a good habit.
