Teachers in the Gulf — I’d very much appreciate your perspective on this one.

I recently received a English teaching offer that, after considering the workload, off on Sundays only and the overall package 7,535 Saudi Riyals, feels way way lower than I anticipated. I come in with an M.S degree with the US and 5 years of teaching experienc.

The benefits package is also more limited with only me excluding my daughter’s and husband sponsorship and insurance coverage.

For those currently teaching in the Gulf, how is it even worth moving on with this offer?
