I remember it being due to an odor spreading throughout the cabin. I remember us having to dump fuel over O’Hare for nearly an hour before we landed. I remember having to step out onto the tarmac where there were firetrucks waiting. And I remember them trying to silence us about it by giving us giftcards. But I can’t find ANY RECORD OF IT HAPPENING! If anyone remembers the incident, if you were on that flight, worked for Spirit, or you worked at O’Hare, please let me know. I know the airline might be dead now, but I seriously think they swept this incident under the rug. I was only 11 years old at the time. Also if anyone can find the name of the pilot, I’d like to thank him for saving my life, and the lives of everyone else on that flight from hell.
