I have been working at the same company for five years now and I’ve always been praised for what a good job I’ve done and how appreciative they are for me. I have never received a raise other than a promotion I received 2 and a half years ago. My performance has always been great and I have always been a team player. I recently asked for a raise and they are asking me to provide a plan on how I am going to grow my department. My manager has told me the higher ups will most likely not do anything for me. Is it time for me to move on?
