Finished my final panel interview on 8/7.

I sent a thank-you email to the recruiter, and she said the debrief would be done in the middle of the following week, and that she hoped to get an answer to me by the end of that week.

8/14: I hadn’t heard anything back, so I sent a follow-up email. The recruiter apologized for the delay and said he was hoping to have an update, but at this rate we’re looking at the middle of next week.

8/19: I sent another follow-up email. No response so far.

What is most likely the scenario? At this point, just let me know I am rejected so I don’t have to keep thinking about it.
