Looking for cold email SDR role

I've worked as an SDR in an influencer marketing agency in India. They weren't in a position to afford all the automation tools and had 6 SDRs doing everything manually (including me) - right from finding the leads, POCs and their contacts to setting up the calls. My reply rate was about 4% and 8/10 of those replies converted into calls.

I'd love to work in an agency that uses all the latest tools and tech (warmup, instantly.etc) on a commission basis. Feel free to DM if you're looking for an additional SDR; I'll share a few sample mails as well.

Thanks!

TA/HR Professionals: What is the absolute BEST cold email you've ever received from a candidate?

I’m currently finishing up my MBA and gearing up for my job hunt.

In the past, I've spent a lot of time doing B2B lead generation, relying heavily on "Show Me You Know Me" (SMYKM) and anti-marketing principles to get replies. However, pitching a product is very different from pitching myself as a candidate to a hiring manager or TA director. I definitely want to avoid sounding like another applicant just blasting a generic template to 500 inboxes.

Since you are the ones on the receiving end and see every trick in the book, I’d love to know:

- What is the single most effective, stand-out cold email you’ve ever gotten from a job seeker?

- What exactly made it catch your attention instead of going straight to the trash?

- Did they pinpoint a specific company pain point, or was it just incredibly well-researched?

If you remember the structure or the hook they used, I would love to take inspiration from it.

I'm looking to build my job hunt strategy off of actual success stories from the people making the hiring decisions, rather than relying on recycled internet templates. Appreciate any insights you can share!
