Hello everyone, my mom did open biopsy and the result is "Chronic granulomatous inflammation with caseous necrosis consistent with tuberculosis "omentum" and "unbilical mass"
Now, we went to another gastroenterologist because we are considering alternative to remove the NGT so she can eat and begins medication. However, gastro is suggesting another biopsy.
All the while I thought that the open biopsy is already highly accurate,
Can any pathologists here give insights?
