Let’s Say goodbye to Alfa Romeo
Giulia and Stelvio probably cancelled or postponed. 70% of the funds will go to the global brands. Alfa would play a marginal role, being relegated to a regional brand. No money means no dedicated platform. In case they will just get recycled stuff here and there.
What a shitty management, able to ruin the Italian automotive scene.
Some rationales for these choices:
- Fiat and Peugeot are the main and more popular brands for Italy and Spain
- Jeep and Ram are the brands that have been keeping alive Stellantis all these years.
- All the other brands have less impact for various reasons. Alfa is among these ones. It requires dedication and customizations if done properly. So it’s not worth it in the critical situation Stellantis is in.
