Neuschwanstein Castle was a temple of fantasy, built by King Ludwig II to escape his suffocating reality.
In 1886, he was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Lake Starnberg—a date hauntingly close to the year 1888, which appears in the lighthouse cycles of the series 'From'.
His servants claimed that he used to speak with ghosts, and the edifice famously served as the basis for Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.
I find it curious that a fairy-tale fantasy castle—the polar opposite of the dark world of From—is positioned right behind the ballerina that makes Sofia so tense she barely dares to touch it.
Are they suggesting that the ballerina is the 'good' counterpart to the Man in Yellow?
