school's just done and i just realised i had a 11-day holiday to travel to elsewhere; looking for some pre-trip tips and advice for backpackers like me...

1. should I bring my own tent? or I can just join the local tours when I land and they will settle it out for me?
2. actually is 11 days possible for me to explore the major scenic views? I personally enjoy trekking/ hiking/ nature a lot, would love a detox and disconnection from the world as well
3. any suggested route? is hitchhiking and solo camping > joining local tour?
4. would it be dangerous to just camp along the trekking route

also how do you guys settle for Internet for google maps/ communications?

thanks a lot haha! I am more used to being a spontaneous traveller and doing the planning on site but with the fixed departure date I am kinda forced to plan everything ahead :(
