New to tooling leather, still see cut lines

Brand new to tooling leather. I am basically YouTube taught. This is my third attempt at a tooling project, but honest first one on leather thick enough to tool (4-5 oz). I don’t hate the way it turned out but I can still see my cut lines. Cuts too deep or tooling incorrectly?
