Best 18-25L day pack for hiking trips?

Good morning! I am planning to do a few short backpacking trips this year (pikes peak, havasupai, rim to rim to rim, etc). I have a large 60-70L pack that I hike in with to hold all of my gear, food and clothes.

I am looking for a day pack to take out and hike during the days when we do a short 1-5 mile hike. Is 20L an appropriate size? I think I’ll want to hold a water bladder in it, change of clothes, water shoes maybe and some food.

What is your best day pack purchase? I have one that’s just a hydration pack and a kavu bag but I am looking for something that can hold a little more and be more functional.

Thanks in advance!

Hello! New to this page but not new to DH gate or rep bags. I have purchased a nylon Prada 07 bag and a LV never full rep.

I have a lululemon fanny pack I wear nearly daily. I have seen some people with the Prada mens chest bag or similar fanny packs.

I am not 100% sold on it having to be Prada but has anyone bought anything like this that they really liked?
