Lucy Revelations

There was a time long ago when the world was at peace. The Gods walked the earth and a chosen few were allowed the knowledge of their power. These chosen few, these disciples were the Gods spokesmen, their words were the words of the Gods and they were hailed with praise higher than kings.
Now it was the time of bronze and war soaked the lands crimson with blood, but the Gods did not notice for elsewhere where their minds and chaos was taking over. The disciples, now many centuries old, tried to warn their masters, but listen they did not, for what was war to interfere with a god? Thus the wars continued and despite their powers the disciples were powerless and fell to depression.
After a time they decided to take matters into their own hands and end the wars themselves, seven disciples with the powers of Gods against the world, their Gods lost in thought and the world in chaos, it was up to them.
It was now that darkness crept into the heart of Darjarren, for his God had been watching the chaos with lust and evil in her eyes and together they strove for power.
“Go Darjarren” His God said in a voice like thunder that only he could hear.
“Go forth and slay thy brothers and once you are done return unto me and together we shall rule and you shall be king of the world and I your queen.”
Spoken in words of velvet, Darjarren was defenceless to his God's will and he followed his Gods orders. Unbeknown a disciple and brother of his had been near and had heard all that had transpired and hastened him to the others and convinced he his brothers and their Gods of what he had heard and together they did plan to right this wrong and end the chaos.
For the disciples, time moved ever slow and it was almost a century before anything was done. Six Gods and six disciples did stand out in the open, all aglow with power, and it was Severyclese, oldest of the Gods, that spoke.
“Sister!” He roared and………
“Crap….”Lucy swore.
“Five years I’ve been looking for this. Five bloody years and its broken!” She fumed to no one in particular. She was reading from a stone tablet, so old its age couldn’t be said.
Thrusting the tablet of stone into her bag, Lucy glared at the young couple she had tied up in the corner.
They looked terrified. Of course they did, She was terrifying was she not? Dressed in the most exquisite of black three-piece suits, a matching fedora and a mask with the likeness of a snarling wolf, Lucy was gorgeous, powerful and of course terrifying.
“What do I do with the two of you now?” She asked them.
They didn’t answer, the fools probably thought it was a rhetorical question. Instead they just mumbled and screamed against their gags.
Lucy was in a predicament now. She wasn’t a nice person, she admitted that. She’s killed and tortured and stolen before, all in the name of knowledge…….And for a high pay, but she wasn’t a cold blooded killer. Well not all the time at least. So how to deal with them and not kill them? She couldn’t just let them go, not yet at least, they were trained professionals after all, they were dangerous. Not to her of course, but still, they might hurt a puppy.
An idea came to Lucy then.
“I know, I’ll call the police, they can free you.” Said Lucy proudly.
“Now, what number room is this?” She asked. She was on the 20th floor of a hotel some place in Las Vegas, luckily she had the address written down.
Lucy listened to them mumble for a while before rolling her eyes and going to the door to check the room number. 188. Okay then, that was easy, poor dears must be too scared if all they could do was mumble . Walking back in she used the landline and informed the police of the crime she’d committed and the tied up people in the room number and hotel address.
Once she had hung up, Lucy threw her bag over her shoulder and opened the window, twenty floors above street level.
“Well, this has been lovely hasn’t it?”
The couple just mumbled in agreement.
“We should do this again sometime, though perhaps we should bring wine and cheese…..Yeah, that sounds nice, I’ll be waiting for the invite, see you then.”
Lucy smiles, turned and jumped straight out the window, oblivious and uncaring that all that was between her and the street below was about two hundred feet of empty air. Why should she care? The sky was clear and the moon was full, it was a perfect night.
