I bought several mystery snails as a clean up crew for a new (cycled, water parameters all good) tank. One of them was not very lively but alive. I’ve come to realize that her (or his) operculum is damaged. It’s not unattached completely, but very loose. She can’t move very much. I have her in a small breeder box to keep her out of the current of the filter and am feeding her small pieces of snello and algae wafers. She is obviously hungry and eating, but can’t move much. Will she improve or not? Any help would be appreciated.
