Just got a new Golden Harvest pixel drop in core from saber forge, I loaded up the new cores SD card with everything on my other saber (also a saber forge pixel drop in core) they should be exact duplicates of each other down to the general text files, with the single exception being the UI sound files being Obi wan in this new saber instead of Qui Gon in my first saber.

My first saber, we’ll call it Saber 1, works perfectly, after going into sleep mode, it starts up perfectly, the blade lights up hilt to tip every time and retracts tip to hilt every time. No problems with Saber 1.

My new core we’ll call Saber 2, it ignites fully lit all at once, and retracts all at once, essentially mimicking baselit rather than the pixel ignition it should be doing. It’s just on or off.

After start up if I go into the sound font menu and select a new sound font, it’s back to normal and pixel ignites and retracts perfectly for every sound font I have, even when going back to the initial sound font I started up on. After it sits and goes into sleep, next start up is igniting baselit style again.

Does anybody know what the issue could be here? Again everything on the Saber 1 SD card was copied and pasted into the new Saber 2 SD card just with a different set of UI sound fonts, and that’s it. I’ve tried rebooting in several different states, rebooting while off, rebooting while on, rebooting back to back, nothing has worked so far and I’m at a loss as to what could be causing it.

TLDR: Saber 1 works perfectly, Saber 2, a direct copy of Saber 1, ignites in a baselit style rather than pixel on start up. Both saber cores are Saber Forge pixel drop in cores.
