Hey crews! Are we still introducing ourselves to the crew when we non-rev? Your carrier or others. I do it and I get mixed responses. It feels like some crews appreciate it while others act like I’m coming on asking for freebies.

If you introduce yourself, how far do you go? Do you introduce yourself to the flight deck and ask for a ride?

Years ago it was expected but now it seems like most crews don’t care to know.
