Had our checkout report in today and my god 🫠.

When we moved in the property had literal cat pee stains on the carpet which we paid to have professionally removed due to having a crawler (6 month old baby) and sharp cracked tiles we reported so many times.

The check out report is a joke, ‘creased inside of curtains’. Sorry am I meant to iron curtains before leaving?! ‘Shelf holes filled and painted non matching paint’. It’s white paint on white paint, you can barely tell.

And one of the best ones ‘shower curtain removed - charge’ with a photo OF THE SHOWER CURTAIN.

They state water stains in a shower that has not been working since before we moved in (also noted originally).

They state we haven’t cleaned, carpet cleaned or hoovered the property (we had both done professionally which you can see in the check out report photos and we have invoices)

I know we can dispute it all with the DPS but it is still ludicrous companies do this and stress tenants out and have to go through the long process of compiling evidence and replying to the DPS.

So lucky we moved out because we bought because doing this every few years is so bad.
