I’m applying for a university scholarship in China, and one requirement is the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. This is for the application stage, not the visa yet.

I completed the medical exam in Spain. The doctor signed and stamped the form, and I also did the chest X-ray and ECG. My concern is about the blood tests. Instead of a traditional venous blood draw with full lab results, the clinic did rapid immunochromatographic tests using a finger-prick/capillary blood sample.

For a China university/scholarship application, is this type of rapid finger-prick blood test acceptable for the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, or are standard venous blood lab results required?

Thanks,
