I picked up this neat chandelier at the salvage shop. I feel pretty confident that the beads and "crystals" are acrylic based on it's their weight and how they feel so I'm going to guess it's from the 1960s? It has clearly has some work done to it (markings for re-assembly, bolts holding on the decorations dont match and are stripped, the basket is unattached). Also, someone disconnected the socket wires from the main trunk wire so at the every least they need to be reattached.

I'd like to try to restore it if I can, but it feels like maybe I missing a piece or two. I can't find a good image of the inside of a chandelier like this to check my instincts.

Should there be some sort of housing/bulb inside where the trunk wire connects to the socket wires? Or do I just hide wire-nuts between all the lightbulbs and hope they can't be seen?

Also, any guessed on how the basket re-attaches? There are some empty threaded holes on the metal body, do I just thread bolds through there and suspend the basket from those?

If anyone has or can link a photo of what this thing should look like inside, it would be SO helpful!
