Conceding defeat
I fought long and hard on a blind unfair playthrough of this game after wanting to challenge myself. Since I completed Dos2 and others on hard difficulties, I thought I could handle this game on unfair. I have 153 hours already and am on Act 2 at the cemetery graveyard and I'm stuck. I didn't know you couldn't rest once you entered the area, and my party comp has exhuasted all spells for the final necromancer fight. I thought that if I killed the necro all the enemies would despawn, but when I finally landed the sleep/coup de grace combo on him just to see his minions decimate my group the next turn, I had lost all hope. It's just too hard for me and the game isn't fun anymore. Every encounter is me figuring what a decent strategy is and hopping the rolls go my way for hours on end. I could keep rolling this fight and hope Seelah gets good rolls and kills the zombies and that my team doesn't get flatlined by the archers by the time she's done, but I just don't have the endurance to keep rolling over and over.
Well I'm just going to play on an easier difficulty and try to enjoy the game now. I will take my tavern defense as my unfair achivement lol.
