So I got my new monitor and connected my power, dp and upstream cable but no power so I resat the power cord, tried different outlets and tried a different power cord and nothing worked. Just making this post to lyk that this monitor (all MSI’s?) sometime ships in ‘deep sleep mode’, you literally just need to connect the hdmi as well to wake it up.
So for starters I have a 4070 oc super and I mostly play single players like the fallout series, rdr2, hogwarts legacy, high on life, etc. but I’ll play whatever catches my eye. I’m mostly upgrading because I’ll need a console for gta6 which made me realize my current monitor is pretty shit/the equivalent of the Xbox s out of the x and ps5. I want this monitor for top tier 1440p gaming and the colors, I know the refresh rate is a bit overkill but I like the size and I want an mpg for the firmware updates.
