22F and lowkey spiraling 😭 Need reassurance/advice
So basically:
- I had been on combo birth control pills since April 18
- I stopped because I was planning on getting a Mirena IUD
- I finished the pack and my placebo week ended May 15
- Had sex May 19
- Condom slipped while he finished, but it was still kinda hanging out of me and semen was still inside the condom
- I genuinely can’t tell if any semen actually got inside me or if it was just lube
- I was STILL bleeding/lightly bleeding from my withdrawal bleed/period when this happened
- Took Plan B within 3 hours
- I’m also getting a Mirena IUD inserted in 2 days
I’m around 263 lbs so now I’m freaking out because people online say Plan B is less effective at higher weights 😭
But I also heard:
- you don’t ovulate immediately after stopping the pill
- Mirena may work as emergency contraception if inserted within 5 days
- and since I was still bleeding maybe my risk is lower?
I know nobody can tell me “0%” but does this sound super high risk or am I just panicking? 😭
