FLAP SURGERY AND STOOL
Hi everyone,
I recently had flap surgery after having a draining seton for a while. It’s now the 4th day of recovery. When I look at my gauze pad, I notice yellowish drainage and, in the middle of the pad, some brownish jelly-like discharge. I’m worried that stool might be passing through the internal tract, but it’s only been four days, so I don’t understand how that would be possible.
I usually don’t have much pain, only after bowel movements.
I’d really like to hear your thoughts and experiences.
