British paratroopers Identification of friendlies on D day
On D day, did the British airborne have a method like the American clickers to identify friendly troops? Did they use passwords, like the equivalent to the American Flash and Thunder challenge and response. I’m specifically interested in the 7th parachute battalion, did they have any specific passwords?
