Vitamin C in Your Lather

Since I'm interested mainly in the quality of the shave, I consider what's not working and try to solve for it. Recently I realised my lather quality had gone down around the time the water company had increased the amount of chloramine in our water (which I confirmed was actually chloramine and not chlorine because it did not degas overnight or even over days like chlorine does). Some research indicated that chloramine is neutralised by vitamin C, so I decided to get some and try adding it to my water. The result was great. It's the best lather I've had in this house. It takes very little. I put it in a retired spice shaker and sprinkle a bit into my water while it's running.
