I don't get the "tail tidy"

I see so many KVS posted with tail tidy or fender delete. I just want to say that I don't see the appeal. There is a nice brake light and license plate holder on the fender, why delete that?

I've heard people say it looks better. I disagree.

Dialogue is crystal clear during previews and turns quiet upon starting movie

I know the issues around quiet dialogue vs. loud music has been discussed for years. Here is my question:

My audio sounds fantastic during the auto play previews that you get when hovering over a title. Once I start the movie, all of a sudden the dialogue is at least 50% quieter.

I have an external speaker setup, 2 floor standing speakers and a centre speaker. Based on my audio sounding great during previews, it tells me that my speaker and receiver settings are fine. When I'm in the movie I don't see any audio options other than language and subtitles.

Can anyone suggest a way to get the crystal clear audio that I hear during the previews to stay in place for the whole movie?

Dear Victoria trail drivers with a flashing yellow light

If you have a flashing yellow light, you have the right of way over the people with a flashing red light. The only people you need to stop for are pedestrians trying to cross.

Everyone is treating the flashing yellow like a stop sign. No. If the lights are completely out, then it's like a stop sign. If both directions have flashing red, then it's like a stop sign. If you see yellow, you can go.

This is all laid our on page 23 of the Driver's handbook. The guy who flipped me off today and told me to get a driver's licence should consider reading it.
