Dolly Parton portrait created using thousands of hand-painted LEGO bricks
I create mosaic artworks using hand-painted LEGO bricks, and I recently completed a one-of-a-kind portrait of Dolly Parton as a commission. The portrait itself measures about 45 inches square, and including frame it is about 53 inches square. Somewhere north of 10,000 hand-painted LEGO bricks were used for this mosaic.
Unfortunately, the deal fell through, so I am looking to re-home this piece. I'd love for it to find a spot where it can be appreciated and interacted with. I have reached out to Dolly Parton Children's Hospital to inquire about donating it, as well as the Country Music and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but so far, no luck.
